Organic Arrowroot Flour is ideal for gluten-free baking; works well with Almond Meal. A natural source of starch, makes a good thickener and binder for puddings & sauces; works as a glazing agent.
TIP – Arrowroot flour doesn’t hold it’s thickening ability, therefore it needs to be added at the end of heating. Mix with water before adding to hot liquids to prevent clumping.
Bring your sauce to a simmer over a low heat. Whisk 1/4 cup of water to 2 tablespoons of arrowroot and mix well. Stir mix into your sauce and heat for 1 minute until think.
